GOALS & ACTIVITIES CURRENT GOALS We have as a goal, providing sun hats for children and sunshade structures for Davis elementary schools and community parks with exposed, non-sheltered playground equipment. We are also committed to offering to the Davis elementary schools, an age and school level appropriate educational program describing both dangers of excessive sun and sun safe behavior. CURRENT ACTIVITIES Our next goal is to bring sunhats into the other elementary schools of Davis, along with our didactic teaching program for those schools which would like to participate in the educational program as well.  We are currently identifying and contacting the interested parties prior to submission of a grant application seeking funding for this activity.
